Below is a list of acceptable diagnosis, although the law around marijuana is changing so rapidly that by the time this is published the law will probably have widened quite a bit.

Qualifying conditions include:

Cancer
Epilepsy
Glaucoma
HIV
AIDS
Post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD)
Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS)
Crohn’s disease
Parkinson’s disease
Multiple sclerosis (MS)

*Medical conditions of the same kind or class as or comparable to those above

A terminal condition diagnosed by a physician other than the qualified physician issuing the physician certification
Chronic nonmalignant pain caused by a qualifying medical condition or that originates from a qualifying medical condition and persists beyond the usual course of that qualifying medical condition

The actual registration process is very simple, all that is required is a consultation with a physician such as myself. Then you will receive an email from the state department instructing you to create a profile. Once that is complete you simply provide them with a picture of your license, a small passport type photo, a $75 processing fee, and an electronic signature. This can all be handled online, except for the payment method, this must be a check or money order mailed to the state.

The card itself will come in the mail from the state of Florida within 30 days.

After this you may visit dispensaries and obtain medical cannabis/CBD, the delivery methods are as follows:

Oral (Tinctures, Capsules, Edibles)

Sublingual (nano-emulsified tinctures, sprays, dissolvables)

Inhalation (Vape Juices, Waxes etc)

Topical (Gels, Creams)

Rectal (Suppositories)

The Doctor will determine the dosage per day depending on what ailment is being treated, but the patient is responsible for his or her own dosing adjustments. This allows more control to be held by the patient. An example prescription would be (5mg 2x per day orally & 5mg 3x per day inhalation) this would equal 600mg & 900mg total THC/CBD modalities for a 60 day prescription.
