PRP Facial (AKA Vampire Facial)

A PRP facial uses your body’s own platelets, concentrated from a small blood sample, and reintroduced into the skin using a micro-needling device. PRP releases growth factors that are believed to support collagen production and improve skin texture over time. Most patients experience mild redness for a day or two, followed by some light peeling before skin appears brighter and more refreshed. We generally recommend this treatment every 5–6 months as part of an ongoing skin maintenance routine.

Micro-Needling

Micro-needling, also known as collagen induction therapy, uses fine needles to create controlled micro-injuries in the skin, which stimulates the body’s natural collagen and elastin production(1). This process can also enhance the absorption of topical treatments applied afterward, such as PRP or peptide serums, making it a useful complement to other services on this page. Micro-needling can be performed on its own or combined with PRP for an enhanced effect.

Other Cosmetic Skin Treatments

Prescription Retin-A (Tretinoin)

Retin-A (tretinoin) is an FDA-approved topical retinoid with a long track record for treating photodamaged skin. Clinical research consistently shows tretinoin improves both fine and coarse wrinkles compared to placebo(1), working by promoting skin cell turnover, collagen synthesis, and more even pigmentation.

Tretinoin commonly causes temporary irritation, dryness, and peeling during the first few weeks of use, which typically improves with continued, consistent application(1). It also increases sun sensitivity, so daily sunscreen is essential, and it is not appropriate for use during pregnancy. Dr. Jenn will determine the appropriate strength and application schedule for your skin during your consultation.

GHK-Cu Copper Peptide Therapy

GHK-Cu is a copper peptide studied for its role in supporting the skin's natural repair processes. Laboratory research shows GHK-Cu can help stimulate collagen and elastin production and support the skin's extracellular matrix(2). We offer GHK-Cu as a topical treatment that may be incorporated into your custom skin plan, often alongside micro-needling to support absorption.

FAQ: Skin Rejuvenation

How long does a skin rejuvenation treatment take? +

Duration depends on the treatment. In-office procedures like a PRP facial or micro-needling session are generally fast, usually taking under 90 minutes. Retin-A and GHK-Cu are at-home treatments used as part of your daily routine, with your provider monitoring progress at follow-up visits.

How many treatments will I need? +

This varies by treatment and by individual. Some patients notice changes after a single PRP facial or micro-needling session, while others benefit from a series of treatments spaced several weeks apart. Retin-A and GHK-Cu are typically used consistently over weeks to months to see full results. Your provider will recommend a schedule based on your specific goals.

Can these treatments be combined? +

Yes. Many patients combine treatments as part of a broader skin plan — for example, using at-home Retin-A or GHK-Cu alongside periodic in-office PRP facials or micro-needling sessions. During your consultation, Dr. Jenn will help determine which combination makes sense for your skin and goals.

Important Safety Information +

PRP facials and micro-needling carry standard injection/procedure risks, including redness, swelling, and rare risk of infection. Retin-A commonly causes irritation, dryness, and increased sun sensitivity, and should not be used during pregnancy. Compounded formulations and peptides, including GHK-Cu, are not FDA-approved. PRP is not FDA-approved for cosmetic use specifically. Your provider will review your complete health history to determine which treatments are appropriate for you.
