What Is NAD+?

NAD+ (nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide) is a coenzyme found in every living cell. It takes part in many of the chemical reactions cells use to handle energy and in processes involved in DNA maintenance and cell signaling (1). Research has reported that NAD+ levels can change with age in some tissues, which is one reason it has drawn scientific interest (1).

It is important to be clear about what is and is not known. Much of the published work on raising NAD+ levels comes from laboratory and animal studies, or from studies of oral NAD precursors, and the evidence in people is still developing (2). NAD+ injections are not approved by the FDA for any condition, and we do not make claims about treating, curing or preventing any disease.

How Telehealth NAD+ Works in Texas

STEP 1

Book a consultation. Meet with a licensed provider by video or phone while you are in Texas.

Provider review. Your provider reviews your health history, medications and goals to decide if NAD+ is appropriate.

STEP 3

Prescription, if appropriate. An independent licensed pharmacy prepares your medication.
